These Could Save Your Family's Life!

I feel convicted to get our smoke detectors workign again. I've disabled a couple in the home because they would go off at random times. I bought a set of them off amazon because I could not find them at Lowes and the pricing was even better. Check your batteries in your smoke detectors every six months and do a test on the alarms. It's easy!

Learning about Maple Syrup Lines

Today I'm headed to Bruce's Maple syrup and candy sugar barn. He has agreed to let me see what his woods look like. We use 3/16th lines and He uses 5/16th lines. Two complete different systems. I'm grateful that Bruce is willing to let me visit his woods! He is a wonderful guy!

Move a Hickory Tree With Gabriel

A tree went down a year or so ago...maybe longer. I cut it off the fence. Then repaired the fence but, left the tree. Over the last year, I've cut pieces parts of the tree up for firewood. Today Gabriel and I are going to get this big Hickory tree up the hill and into the wood yard. Soon it will become firewood for the house.
