M4900 Kubota A/C Compressor Replacement
Today we have a problem with our M4900 Kubota Tractor. The air conditioning is not working. We need to replace the a/c clutch. But, it’s not going to be as simple as this. The clutch cost close to $600 and the compressor (from Kubota) costs $1,900. I thought we could remove the clutch only and replace it. Turns out it’s less expensive to replace the compressor than the clutch along. The cost of the compressor is around $205(aftermarket). Here is a link to the compressor we used.
