Grinding Turkey - How We Process our Turkey
Today we are going to make turkey burgers… That doesn’t sound right does it? We are going to grind our turkey breasts into what looks like burger meat. Then we will freeze it. Making turkey burgers is a simple process. About the toughest part of it is cutting the meat into thin strips. Once the cutting is done the grinding is easy with a kitchen air attachment for meat grinding. Once the meat is ground up, I’ll put it into our Vac Master Vacuum sealer. Ours has a gas purge, and we use nitrogen for that. After all the meat is vacuum sealed, we’ll flatten them and put them in the freezer.
