2023 Maple Syrup Season is Near
Today marks day 6 in the sugar bush. I’ve been removing trees from the lines and replacing taps for the past week. Today we traverse the steepest sections of the farm. If we can install 150 maple syrup taps, it will be a good day! For that matter, if we install 100 taps, it will be a good day. In this video I show you what I do in the woods. These days typically last about 8 hours. Today is a shorter day in that I only have about 4 hours to work.
